Cecylia Szerszeń

was born in 1944. She completed her education in a Public Higher School of Fine Arts (Arts University at present) in Poznań.

Cecylia studied Fine Arts under the supervision of prof. Hipolit Polański and prof. Tadeusz Brzozowski and had her diploma in 1969.

Having completed her studies she took up teaching Arts and she got interesting in interior decoration.

Landscape has become her favourite theme. Her works of Art are often created on location and she regularly takes part in regional as well as nationwide exhibitions to gain awards and distinctions.

Her paintings can be found  in museums in Częstochowa, Leszno, Ciechanów, Katowice and in art galleries in Częstochowa, Katowice, Sandomierz, Opole. Besides, they can be traced in many public institutions and private collections in Poland and abroad (in Sweden, Holland, Germany, France and USA among others).
